Mindfulness

"Your entire life only happens in this moment. The present moment is life itself."

                                                                             - Eckhart Tolle

Mindfulness simply means being present in the moment. Mindfulness practice aims for presence and focusing attention on what is right now.

Our attention is most often in our minds, and our mind is never in the present moment. With mindfulness practice, the aim is either to shift our attention to something concrete in the present moment, such as our breath or our surroundings, or to learn to observe our thoughts neutrally without identifying with them.
